My Profile

I am a native of Bloomington and my family has been serving the Bloomington/Normal area for over 90 years. I was an Honors Program Scholar at Illinois State University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science and Honors in Finance. Since beginning my career as an agent with Prudential Snyder Real Estate, I have had the opportunity to work with buyers and sellers in real estate transactions involving land, existing homes and new construction. Although the last couple years have been tough nationally in the real estate field, I have had a great beginning and I continue to learn in order to serve my clients to the best of my ability.

I have continually taken advantage of my company’s ongoing training programs to further my knowledge about the many issues concerning real estate. Immediately upon employment, I completed a national training program, Action Pack for Success, developed by Prudential Real Estate and led by instructor Karen S. Lander. Later, I completed the Sales Master System which involves numerous weekly training sessions on different sales techniques. In 2007, I was awarded the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation. This designation is earned by attending a specific, intensive series of 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering a variety of subjects including contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance and risk reduction. In Illinois, less than 10 percent of the 60,000-member Illinois Association of REALTORS® has achieved this designation.

I was also awarded the 2007 Prudential Snyder Real Estate Rookie of the Year Award for all my hard work and dedication to my clients. In 2007, there were 24 real estate agents that qualified for this award. The total volume for these 24 agents was $19 million, of which I produced $2 million. My production in 2007 put me in the top 33% of our entire company for volume, and in the top 25% for total units.

Most recently, I was awarded May 2008 Commercial Leader of the Month. I am the youngest Prudential Snyder agent to receive the Rookie of the Year Award and/or Commercial Leader of the Month. My production in 2009 put me in the top 17% of our entire company for volume, and in the top 16% for total units.
